Hiking
Well this was quite a treat and a lot harder then I though the hike was going to be. It was basically up hill for an hour plus. This climb defiantely told me i needed to get in shape. Although i thought i was pretty consistent on the way up. Instead of taking giants steps towards the hill i took small quick steps to save my energy. i thought it worked quite well. Everyone did i thought really well. It was a beautiful site when we got to the top. I would climb only again to see the emaculate view. Down hill wasn't my favorite only because i thought i was going to fall and hurt myself. I had good shoes on its just the going down isn't my favorite. Once we were down at teh bottom the car was quite nice.
EHS rock climb.
I felt pretty much in my element for the rock climb. I don't mind hights and i've rock climbed before. I knew how to tie the ropes but it was a nice refresher from a well trained rock climber. I started the climb with the vertical straight which was pretty easy. Then I tried the next part which had a harder element to it. Thirdly i tried what i thought was the hardest climb because gravity was pulling you down ward because of the way the wall was tilted so it was fun having to learn how to climb in a different way. I touched the last peg on the top but soon felt because my arms felt like jello. This climb made me excited to do a real climb and i'm hoping i do well. Again I would totally climb in my own time. Everyone else did really well too!
Biking
This was an up hill battle between me and my bike. I put my gears on 1 and 2 and went for it. Up hill was my favorite because it gave me no fear of speed. I though I did well not stopping and keeping behind ms. speedy, becky! Once at the top I felt much relief and success. I've never mountain biked before so I felt triumphant. Going down hill was another story. I'm a little afraid of going down hill and not being able to control myself. I love speed but not when i'm in control. :) Once i finally made it down, being one of the last ones it was nice to know I had a nice sit down rise home in the car. Would I do this again? Yes!

Geo what!
Today we used GPS systems to travel around the central campus. We hid a cache someone on campus and wrote down its location in degrees and then had to use the GPS systems to find other peoples hidden cache. Another fun way to exercise either individually or in groups/partners. I personally enjoyed this because I got to hang with becky and allison. We work well as a group and thats what made it fun. It was also fun seeing the other people in my cohort search for the burried treasure. ANOTHER MEMORABLE DAY!
Compass fun!
Today was a new adventure for me in the sense that I learned how to travel with a compass. I used one when I was really little but had forgotten how to use it. Using the compass could be great for students and making exercise fun with out knowing your exercising. I liked how using the compass could be done individually or with partners/groups. Overall a fun day!

Into the INLINE
Today was a great taste for me at inline skating. I had the right sized shoes on so I was comfortable. I felt invinsible, all the sudden skating like i did as a kid came right back to me. Everyone seemed to be having a good time. I enjoyed playing hockey. I think i'll be fine for testing I just need to keep confident and positive when I skate and get the right sized knee and elbow pads! Another successful day with the cohort. I was glad to see everyone there.
